Inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains, I have a deep appreciation for life in the Shenandoah and Roanoke Valleys of Virginia. As a lifelong resident, rural life and a love for nature and the outdoors was instilled in me at an early age.

I earned a B.A. in studio art from Bridgewater College where my studies were concentrated in printmaking and sculpture. Since graduating, I have been a self-employed artist. I have participated in solo shows and festivals. Over the last decade I have been exhibiting my work at local farmers' markets and arts and crafts shows. At the farmers' markets, I sell photo note cards, illustrated note cards, framed photos, as well as matted prints. I sell landscape drawings as fine art prints and as note cards. The landscapes are drawn from scenes from around the Shenandoah Valley and the Roanoke Valley.

I am primarily a landscape artist and a nature photographer. A self-taught photographer, my photographic work, which has only developed recently, reflects the inspiration I find in the beauty of the outside world. My work explores florals, garden scapes, farm scenes, and mountains.

I live in Botetourt County, Virginia. And when I'm not working on an art commission or working on inventory for the next market or art show, you can find me outside tending to the flower beds and planning the next macro floral shot. Or you might find me cycling on the county's backroads, looking for the next Valley scene to put on paper.
